On Sunday, December 20th the Old Chelsea Village Pub Walk will NOT take place. All the other regularly scheduled Sunday London Walks will take place on Sunday, December 20th, exactly as scheduled.

Monday, December 21st will be a normal Monday for us. All of the regularly scheduled Monday London Walks will take place on Monday, December 21st, exactly as scheduled. In addition to all the regularly scheduled Monday London Walks there will be two "specials" on Monday, December 21st. They are;

On Thursday, December 24th there are just four London Walks - two in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. The four London Walks that will take place on Thursday, December 24th are:

On Christmas Day itself there are just two London Walks - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. And please note, the meeting point for the two Christmas Day walks is by the big Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square.
1) Christmas Morning, 1660 - Samuel Pepys's London goes at 11 am on December 25th.
2) The Christmas Day Charles Dickens's London Walk goes at 2 pm on December 25th.

On Boxing Day - December 26th - which is on a Saturday this year (2009) - we will operate our normal Saturday programme of London Walks, with the following exceptions:
1) The British Museum Tour will NOT take place (because the British Museum will be closed).
2) The Old Marylebone Walk will NOT take place.
3) The Blood-Curdling London Walk will NOT take place.
All of the other regularly scheduled Saturday London Walks will take place on Saturday, December 26th, 2009. And in addition to the regularly scheduled Saturday London Walks there will be three "specials" on Saturday, December 26th.

All of the regularly scheduled Tuesday London Walks will take place on Tuesday, December 29th except Behind Closed Doors (not only are those doors closed on December 29th, they're locked!). But don't despair, in addition to the other regularly scheduled Tuesday London Walks, there will be two Seasonal Specials on Tuesday, December 29th. They are:

Stonehenge & Salisbury - "You'll never see anything like it again" will go at

All of the regularly scheduled Thursday London Walks will take place on Thursday, December 31st except the following three walks: Mysterious London & the Da Vinci Code; The Ancient City at Night; and the Old Marylebone Village Pub Walk. But short rations it isn't - because the three Specials we'll be running that day (in addition to the lion's share of the regularly scheduled Thursday London Walks) will more than make it up to you.
