GET THE WIND IN YOUR LONDON SIGHT-SEEING SAILS
Even if you’ve never entertained the notion of running a marathon there’s no denying the fantastic sights you’ll see on the London Marathon Course.
With the public event canceled, the elites will run over a modified course on the 4th October but I want to share with you virtually the regular route that starts at Blackheath and finishes just outside Buckingham Palace.
Along the way you’ll ‘run’ through the historic Woolwich Arsenal, the World Heritage Site of Greenwich, over the famous Tower Bridge, around the steel and glass skyscrapers of Canary Wharf before heading along the River Thames…
Passing the Tower of London, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament to name just a few.
As a qualified London Blue Badge Tour Guide and 22 times marathon runner (including 2 Londons), I’d love you to join me to share with you 2 of my passions; running and my home city.
There’s no medal at the end but your legs won’t be sore for the next week either!
