The Monday Night Music History Club No.18: A Great Big Musical Pub Crawl

Adam writes… Going back to basics for this one. Maps and travel tips to find bars, pubs, holes-in-the-wall, restaurants, cafés, greasy spoons, saloons, tea rooms… anywhere that history has witnessed musical visits or shenanigans. Some will be going concerns (I’ll review where appropriate), some will be long-gone locations.

From Taylor Swift to Franz Schubert. Sup up your beer and collect your fags* (Brit Eng slang: cigarettes). It’s my round.

*Opening line from Eton Rifles (1980) by The Jam, written by Paul Weller
