Short podcast listen: Adam riffing brilliantly on how a music walking tour is not just a dance to the music of our time – it’s also a dance to who we are.
Slightly longer read:“It’s like having your own personal rock star for a tour guide”
Lockdown read: Wednesday night Rock’n’Roll London Pub Walk is BACK! Click here Other London Walks tours will soon follow in virtual form
Long read: All roads once led to Rome… now they lead to London. In terms of Rock ‘n’ Roll this is an inarguable fact. Big bucks may be made in Hollywood but rock ‘n’ roll reputations are made here in The Big Smoke. We’re headin’ to their haunts and hangouts. Where they riffed and let rip, these men of wealth and taste. Please allow me to introduce The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Blur, Oasis… It’s a Who’s Who of the music. Each act has a London tale to tell… Very often a tale so decadent – so down and dirty – that Caligula would have blushed!*Keep on walking, keep on rocking! Guided by Adam or Rex. *with thanks to Morrissey

ROCK ‘N’ ROLL LONDON – THE PRACTICALS
Rock ‘n’ Roll London takes place every*Friday – year-round – at 2 pm. The meeting point is just outside exit 1 of Tottenham Court Road Tube Stop. If arriving on the Elizabeth Line follow the signs for the Tottenham Court Road Exit, and then take Exit 1, Oxford Street South N.B. the Rock ‘n’ Roll London Walk ends very near Oxford Circus Tube. *Not Dec. 25
If you can’t make one of the regularly scheduled, just-turn-up, Rock 'n' Roll London it can always be booked as a private tour. If you go private you can have the Rock 'n' Roll London walk – or any other London Walk – on a day and at a time that suits your convenience. We’ll tailor it to your requirements. Ring Fiona or Mary on 020 7624 3978 or email us at [email protected] and we’ll set it up and make it happen for you. A private London Walk – they’re good value for an individual or couple and sensational value for a group – makes an ideal group or educational or birthday party or office (team-building) or club outing.
GIVE THE GIFT OF LONDON WALKS
A private London Walk makes a fab gift – be it a birthday or anniversary or Christmas present or whatever. Merchandise schmerchandise (gift wrapped or not) – but giving someone an experience, now that’s special. Memories make us rich.
Rock’n’roll London Sunday 26th September 2021 – Guided by Adam Scott.
Getting 14 friends and family to TCR Tube Station for 11am was less of a challenge than I thought. We met Adam and he herded these “cats” for the next 2 hours.
It started well, mention of Alex Harvey at the Dominion, got better with Rock around the Clock by Bill Hayley (‘Our tune’ – we celebrated 40 years of marriage earlier in September) and continued to be the gift that just kept on giving.
Adam was patient with the cats and informative in bucketloads keeping the interest of our musical virgins and sad old music heads like me. I think its fair to say Adam kept us all enthralled and I can confirm we were all very sad when the tour came to a halt. I could have continued for another 2 hours.
Many thanks Adam, you made our Ruby Wedding weekend of celebration perfect.
Guys – if you have a group of music fans in London book a tour with Adam. You will not regret it.
