Kensal Green tube station, London
Guided by Canal Guides
Short read: Exactly what it says on the tin.
Long read: One of the dozen or so different canal walks we conduct in partnership with the Inland Waterways Association (all of which are conducted by guides who are members of the IWA – they’re boat owners, they know the canals, their history, their particulars, their curiosities, etc. very well; it all comes down to the guiding). This one is bookended by Kensal Rise cemetery and Little Venice. In short, two of the most extraordinary “bookends” in the entire lrepertory of some 500 different London Walks. And along the way, the Grand Union Canal – the least well known of London’s canal network.
In the Summer 2017 London Walks programme the The Grand Union Canal – Kensal Green to Little Venice walk takes place on XXXXX at 2.30 pm. Meet Roger or one of his Canal Guides colleagues just outside the exit of Kensal Green Tube.
If you can’t make one of the regularly scheduled, just-turn-up, public Mountain Building & Meteorites in the City of London walks it can always be booked as a private tour. If you go private you can have the The Grand Union Canal – Kensal Green to Little Venice walk – or any other London Walk – on a day and at a time that suits your convenience. We’ll tailor it to your requirements. Ring Fiona or Noel or Mary on 020 7624 3978 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll set it up and make it happen for you. A private London Walk – they’re good value for an individual or couple and sensational value for a group – makes an ideal group or educational or birthday party or office (team-building) or club outing.
A private London Walk makes a fab gift – be it a birthday or anniversary or Christmas present or whatever. Merchandise schmerchandise (gift wrapped or not) – but giving someone an experience, now that’s special. Memories make us rich.
