From fear to eternity…
It’s blue dusk. Feeding time. Time to pierce the veil which hides the future after death. The time when rooftop cats look down – their eyes green as ringstones – and see things that maybe we shouldn’t see. Down here in the creepiest part of London… in alleyways so narrow you can’t open an umbrella in them.
And so old they’re cobwebbed with time. And cobwebbed with something else. Cobwebbed with events that occurred long ago – events that under certain conditions can again become dynamic. So when you see the unholy Trinity – and you will see it – and when silver dragons leer at you – and they will – and if you hear footsteps up a deserted alleyway – or voices of persuasion that whisper in the darkness – or catch a glimpse of a hooded, staring transparent figure…
Congratulations – you’ve just fed a haunting. It’ll be back. And one day… so will you. Now who’s for a really cosy pub?
HAUNTED LONDON – THE PRACTICALS
The meeting point for Haunted London is just outside the Fish Street Hill exit of MonumentTube Stop. It’s guided by actors Andy and Jim.
LONDON WALKS REVIEWS
“London Walks has many copycats, but it’s the best”Frommer’s London by Night
“My 14-year-old daughter and I went on our first London Walk during our week in London and loved it so we took two more! We took the Ghosts of the Old City and Haunted London. These walks weren’t just ghost tales, but included fabulous historical information that we would have never learned otherwise. We also loved how these walks took us down back alleys and areas hidden that as a tourist, we never would have seen. We loved every minute!” Tracy A. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
“Great Value, Very Entertaining I have had the pleasure of attending the Jack the Ripper walk and the Chilling Tales from Beyond the Grave walk, and in both cases the experience was incredible. The guides are very knowledgeable, creative, and funny. They tell stories in a unique way that keeps your attention from start to finish.” J. K. Norwich, United Kingdom
“Always a treat My husband and I are massive fans of all of the walks we’ve been on. These include: Kensington Village, Jack the Ripper, Old Westminster, Spy Walk, James Bond walk, Dickens & Shakespeare’s London, Haunted West End and Little Venice most recently. We’ve never had a bad one; usually led by an actor or historian and always pointing out buildings or features you’d never have seen, with meaning or significance. Highly recommended!” verydarklilac Surrey, UK
“Don’t look any further… Quite rightly this is the company that gets mentioned the most. I’ve always said that if I ever get the chance to move to London I shall do ALL their walks, sadly I’m stuck to holidays for now but that said I had a lovely time at the Chilling Tales from Beyond the Grave tour last year (not only because of the stories, but also walking through the deserted city on a Sunday night)” IngeK73 Nijmegan, Netherlands
“London Walks are wonderful… I would highly recommend London Walks to anyone. I’ve done the Chilling Tales from Beyond the Grave walk, 2-day trips (Stonehenge & Oxford), Old Kensington, & Jack the Ripper and all were excellent” JenD Cape Town
“Best Value Tour in London... The Chilling Tales from Beyond the Grave walk is another Ghost walk and starts at Monument Tube station and ends near Barbican Station. I enjoyed this tour, and Corrina’s songs that were associated with the tour. Corrina is a professionally qualified London guide and Royal National Theater actress.” Dnottingham4 Titusville, Florida
“YEAH BABY!!! The London haunted tour was EXCELLENT! The stories were interesting and the group interaction was superb. The Jack tour was great as well. It’s informative and creepy!” Travelguru4u Ridgefield, New Jersey

We went on the Ghost Walk with Jim on December 7. He was very knowledgeable and engaging, striking the perfect balance between history and humour. On an atmospheric night, he led us down hidden alleys and byways, regaling us with myriad stories – from the Plague to the present day – that kept us all enthralled from start to finish. Strongly recommend.
