Little Venice – Richard III, the start of his (virtual) tour, meeting a local…

Here’s how Richard III starts his Little Venice Virtual Tour. Introduces himself, tells us (and shows us) where we’re going to go, takes us up out of Warwick Avenue Tube Stop and voila: “the first thing you’re going to see is “a 19th-century cab shelter.” Which we find out about. It gets better: we get a little peek inside AND we get to meet Tracey, who runs the place. Tracey and few of her “boys” (London cabbies).

As Richard explains, his Little Venice Virtual Tour is a two-parter:

  1. This really pretty, beautifully preserved Victorian area in west London.
  2. We’re also going to walk the whole length of the Regent’s Canal – all 8 miles of it
