This excursion will be back soon. In the meantime we’d be happy to organise a private tour for you. Please contact us on 020 7624 3978 | email@example.com to make a booking.
Sloane Square tube station, London
Short version. Chelsea – the Village of Palaces – is London at its most beguiling.
Long version. Chelsea is Oscar Wilde's Tower of Ivory and Mick Jagger's town-house. It's James Bond's pad, Paul Getty's stately mansion, Christopher Wren's Royal Hospital, and an ancient Physic Garden that changed the course of American History. Chelsea is Chelsea Reach, "Hyde Park on the Thames." It's trendy Sloane Rangers, Hooray Henries, and scarlet-coated Chelsea Pensioners. It's cannons from the Battle of Waterloo and Chinese lanterns from the Flower Show. We take it all in, punctuated with visits to three delightful hostelries, including the most traditional pub in London (it's David's all-time favourite pub!). N.B. the walk takes about two and a half hours and ends in the historic heart of Chelsea. From there it's a fifteen minute walk (or 3-minute bus ride) back to Sloane Square Tube.
The Old Chelsea Village Pub Walk takes place at 7.15 pm on xxxxxxxx. Meet Claire just outside the exit of Sloane SquareTube.
If you can't make the regularly scheduled, just-turn-up, public Chelsea Pub Walk do think about booking one as a private tour. If you go private you can have the Chelsea Pub Walk – or any other London Walk – on a day and at a time that suits your convenience. We'll tailor it to your requirements. Ring Fiona or Noel or Mary on 020 7624 3978 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll set it up and make it happen for you. A private London Walk – they're good value for an individual or couple and sensational value for a group – makes an ideal group or educational or birthday party or office (team-building) or club outing.
A private London Walk makes a fab present – be it a birthday or anniversary or get-to-know-your-new neighbourhood gift or Christmas present or whatever. Merchandise schmerchandise (gift wrapped or not) – but giving someone an experience, now that's special. Memories make us rich.
"by far the most impressive series of walks that I have ever encountered are those offered by London Walks" Travel and Enjoy
"Even jaded Londoners find these London Walks a source of astonishing gems of information about the city in which they live." Daily Mail, Top London Treats
