David’s Classic London Photography Tour goes at 10.45 am from exit 4 of WestminsterTube on the following Sundays; December 8, January 19, February 16, March 15 and April 19.

David’s Christmas Lights Photography Tours go at 7 pm on Wednesday, November 23 and at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 14. The meeting point for the two Christmas Lights Photography Tours is just outside the Villiers Street exit of EmbankmentTube.
The photography tours last about three hours.

ON LOCATION IN LONDON
Visiting London? Living in London? Got a camera?
Would you like to discover and photograph the city? This tour is for you. Led by professional photographer, magazine editor and Blue Badge Guide Marc Zakian, the London photography tour is an ideal way to get to know your camera in one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Our small group (no more than 6 people) will all get individual instruction. Bring your DSLR, mirrorless or compact camera and find out how to take some great shots. (If you have a smartphone camera or tablet you are welcome, but there is only so much you can learn with these options.) We start with a talk about how to use your camera. We’ll make the techy stuff as interesting and easy as possible: find out about blurred shots, freeze motion, how to get the best from variable light, composition, focus. We will cover shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Marc’s prepared a hand-out to help you remember everything.
Then we’re off to explore London. History and photography combined in one tour. At the end of the tour we’ll review our images together. You’ll go away with some great shots of London, a better understanding of your camera and some fascinating facts about the city.
Level: Beginners and those with a little knowledge of photography.
What to bring: Your camera – DSLR, mirrorless, or compact. This course is suited to any camera with manual modes such as P, S, Tv, A or Av.

HALF DAY PHOTO WALK
A half-day photo walk of London. This tour is ideal for visitors to London who want to use their camera to photograph the city. We will go to some of the city’s best photo spots to shoot panoramic views, riverside locations and some of London’s iconic architecture. As well as showing you some of the great photo opportunities, Marc will give photo coaching, offer practical and technical advice and guide you though the history of the landscape.
The Half Day Photo Walk tour with Marc costs £190 for up to 7 people. It’s ideal for friends, families and small groups.
The full-day On Location in London tour with Marc costs £360 for up to six people. Makes a brilliant birthday or anniversary present.
