Dan Parry

With more than 20 years’ experience in the media, Dan Parry started out as a BBC journalist before becoming a TV producer. As the Head of Research at Dangerous Films, he worked on international factual dramas for which he interviewed Neil Armstrong, former CIA director (and US President) George H. W. Bush, D-Day veterans, 9/11 survivors, SAS soldiers who captured Bosnian war criminals, and a bar-full of spies and other shady renegades. Dan later freelanced as a story producer, working with David Yates and David Heyman (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts) and Peter Kosminski (Wolf Hall, The State). He has published three best-selling books accompanying his television work, focusing on Blackbeard the pirate, D-Day and Apollo 11.
