Bombing with Banksy and Co. – Graffiti & Street Art in Shoreditch. Let's Go! takes place at 10.45 am on Sunday, May 20th. Meet Pepe outside the Bishopsgate exit of Liverpool StreetTube.

Respectable it ain't. But as Martha Graham said,  "Respectable! Show me any artist who wasnts to be respectable."

And once the shock has passed it's Woot! Or several of them actually. They're that good, that fun, that intense on the senses. Except you can't buy it (or them) and take them home (no matter how downreaching your pockets are). Can't buy them because they're on walls and the sides of buildings and pavement. Etc.

But see them you can. And will. The work of Banksy – the most famous living street artist in the world – and Co. Co. to include – of course – work by Ben Eine, whose “Twenty First Century City” was recently presented by David Cameron to Barrack Obama.

See them. And see into them. In short, we get up close and personal with the dynamic east London street art scene. Get across the astonishing transformation of Spitalfields and Shoreditch from a once seedy and deprived area into one of the most vibrant, fashionable, happening neighbourhood in London.

We finish with a visit to a street artist’s studio and gallery.

Pepe, the born and bred Londoner who guides the walk, is a street art collector. (Yes, in some cases you can "take it home".) He knows the scene as well as the artists themselves.

So, yes, this one's different. And all to the good for being so!

Anything else? Yes, for sure.  If you've gone slinging down in Dorset on May 20th don't despair – sling  your hook at June 17th or September 9th or October 21st. Because Pepe'll be Bombing wih Banksy and Co. on all three of those Sunday mornings. Same time: 10.45 am. Same meeting point: just outside the Bishopsgate exit of Liverpool StreetTube.)
