N.B. there may be some Beachcombing dates in the mid-June to mid-August period. But we won't know until closer to the time. At the moment (I'm writing this in early February) that mid-June to mid-August period is very much "up in the air." Her Beachcombing availability will depend on the mooted dig in the Middle East that Fiona will be on if it in fact comes off. The which depends on military/political "developments" in that part of the world.
And the usual recommendation: wear sensible shoes and bring a little bag for your swag – for the goodies you're going to find: mediaeval roof tiles, Elizabethan clay pipes, something Roman perhaps, or even Mesolithic! Yes, a few of our Beachcombers are now the proud owners of something a Mesolithic Londoner produced 8,000 years ago! (Give or take a few days.)
