In this episode, Keith Baverstock, the buccaneer, explorer, adventurer, entrepreneur and visionary Australian who founded London Walks (the oldest urban walking tour in the world), talks* about the East End of London in 1968. Hard, hard-up, gritty, edgy, it was a very different cup of tea back then. Not that that deterred Keith. He blazed a trail – got a now-famous walking tour going. Yes, you guessed right: Jack the Ripper.
