It’s Christmas carolling. After a fashion. Actor Richard Burnip is one of the most gifted narration talents of our day. Richard’s also a friend and, his audible.co.uk commitments permitting, a London Walks guide. Yesterday he gifted us with a wonderful reading of a Charles Dickens story.
Our cup runneth over because Richard’s done an encore for us: a reading of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s story The Silver Hatchet. And, a bonus, as with the Dickens tale, Richard’s also given us a little introductory talk about the story.
So, same recommendation as last time: get yourself a cuppa, sit back, feet up and let the two of them – Sherlock Holmes’ creator and Richard, he of the velvety, silvery voice – take you, this time, to Budapest. Take you to some decidedly unnerving goings-on.
