A podcast taster of Part II of emeritus Museum of London archaeologist Kevin Flude’s virtual tour through the whole island of Great Britain (yes, that’s right, it’s an echo of Daniel Defoe’s famous travelogue).
Conway on the north Wales coast is the focal point for Part II of “the tour through the whole island of Great Britain.” It is, in Kevin’s words, “the small town that has everything: a magnificent castle, a city wall that is intact, bridges that are engineering marvels, the smallest house in Great Britain, reams of important history, and so on.
The virtual tour of Conwy takes place on March 7.
