  1. Ann Thomas

A brilliant walk. So informative, interesting and a great way to learn about the Gamechangers. Thank you David, I learnt so much. A great guide!

  2. Mark Bush

Excellent walk. David deftly sets the historical context and uses the numerous buildings and statues to illustrate his views on the people who really changed things. He tells it like it is, bringing the material to life with a touch of drama and humour, covering the seamy side of things as well as the positive. Thoroughly recommended.

  3. Oxana

I thoroughly enjoyed this walk. David told us several stories, each with its own theme, e.g. city sewage system, public healthcare, child labour, political reforms, transportation etc. He skillfully dropped famous names here and there, interspersing them with dates to give you the historical context. We did a good amount of walking too, and two hours have flown by so swiftly. Highly recommended!

  4. Phillip

A wonderful sunny February day to walk with David in a new walk – Gamechangers. It was interesting and illuminating as we walked through areas and people that changed the course of our history. Many nuances and facts and an intriguing story how Pall Mall got it’s name – I won’t spoil it – you need to go and do the walk to find out more.

  5. Richard

  6. Jo Lloyd

Another fantastic walk from London Walks. It was a first outing for this one and it is well and truly worthy of its place in the schedule. David is both erudite and entertaining and I learnt a huge amount about some of the great people who have shaped our history.
