This excursion will be back soon. In the meantime we’d be happy to organise a private tour for you. Please contact us on 020 7624 3978 | firstname.lastname@example.org to make a booking.
Bank tube station, London (exit 1, on the corner of Poultry and Princes Street)
Short version: Pints, Pyrites & Pyroclastics
Slightly longer version: Tour of the City of London's building stones. And pubs.
Even Longer version: The drilling down – through millions of years – starts at Bank. Followed up by threading through the oldest streets and alleys in London to Guildhall and eventually the Monument. Your frequent low whistles of awe and wonder at what you're seeing and hearing mean your whistle will have to be wet from time to time. That's where a couple of great old City of London pubs come in. The walk is guided by Matt, a professional geologist at the Geology Museum.
The Rocks in the City Urban Geology Pub Walk takes place at 7.15 pm on Sxxxxxxxxxx. Meet Matt just outside exit 3 of BankTube.
If you can't make the regularly scheduled, just-turn-up, public Rocks in the City – Urban Geology Pub Walk do think about booking one as a private tour. If you go private you can have the Rocks in the City – Urban Geology Pub Walk – or any other London Walk – on a day and at a time that suits your convenience. We'll tailor it to your requirements. Ring Fiona or Noel or Mary on 020 7624 3978 or email us at email@example.com and we'll set it up and make it happen for you. A private London Walk – they're good value for an individual or couple and sensational value for a group – makes an ideal group or educational or birthday party or office (team-building) or club outing.
A private London Walk makes a fab present – be it a birthday or anniversary or get-to-know-your-new neighbourhood gift or Christmas present or whatever. Merchandise schmerchandise (gift wrapped or not) – but giving someone an experience, now that's special. Memories make us rich.
