Well, what else are you going to doing on a Monday night?
It’s the return of the famous Pub Quiz Walk. First launched back in 2010, Adam’s Pub Quiz Walks combine a fascinating walking tour with a fun pub quiz along the way… with prizes!
This summer the theme is going to be music history and music trivia with four of Adam’s London Music Tours adapted as pub quiz walks.
Monday 18th August 6.30pm Rock’n’Roll Camden Pub Quiz
In Covent Garden we’ll see Bob Dylan vie for centre stage with Bob Marley, we’ll look at recording studio and pop video history. We’ve got 400 years worth of entertainment history to draw upon in this part of town. Tour will feature the two Bobs (Marley & Dylan), John Lennon, The Kinks, Stones and more.
The Season
There are FOUR pub quiz walks this summer. They are…
Monday 21st July 7pm Rock’n’Roll Soho Pub Quiz
Monday 25th July 7pm Rock’n’Roll Covent Garden Pub Quiz
Monday 18th August 7pm Rock’n’Roll Camden Pub Quiz
Monday 1st September 7pm Beatlemania! Pub Quiz
How Do Pub Quiz Walks Work?
The evening is split into five sections, as follows:
- Short guided walking tour
- Pub stop + pub quiz
- Second short guided walking tour
- Second pub stop + pub quiz
- Third very short guided walking tour + answers and prizes!
You can take part as an individual, or bring a team or team-up with others on-the-night.
All-in-all the evening should take about two-and-a-half to three hours. We’ll end at a third pub and always handy for a Tube station to get home.
Are The Questions Hard?
The questions will be based on two things: locations visited on the walking tour and general knowledge.
What Is Included In the Price?
An excellent walking tour (“The coolest thing we did in London” Google Reviews) and a fun quiz.
Are Drinks Included?
No, your ticket price does NOT include a drink but Adam has reduced the ticket price so that everyone gets the concession rate. So adult tickets cost £15 and seniors/students cost £10 each. Tickets must be booked and prepaid. There are no children’s prices available because this walk is not suitable for under 18s.
Why No Children?
We will be going into pubs where 18 years old is the legal minimum age. Anyone lucky enough to still look under 18 will often be asked for ID. On Monday evenings London Walks offers a family-friendly experience on the Old Westminster By Gaslight tour, which you can book HERE.
