Ok, let's bung in some scenery: From South American liberators to avant-garde artists… All mingling with fascinating characters from the world of medicine. Birth control pioneers rub shoulders with chemists. Illegitimate children of kings share the stage with actors (including the Bride of Frankenstein). And that's not to mention the mischievous and villainous Dr Crippen. Today Fitzrovia is a cool place to hang out, studded with historic pubs where salacious goings-on are nothing new. And for good measure, there's 101 Dalmatians as well as Arts and Crafts. Something for everyone in the heady mixture of louche Fitzrovia.
