“London Walks puts you into the hands of an expert on the particular area and topic of a tour…” The New York Times

As a former Governor of a British Overseas Territory – St Helena – which was governed by the East India Company for 200 years, Lisa has a unique insight into the East India Company. Right down to living in the mansion that was built for East India Company Governors on St Helena in 1792. But let’s hear it from the Governor herself. “I was a diplomat for more years than I care to remember. Other career stops included development overseas in Nepal, Kenya and Thailand. My role was to eliminate poverty…yes, really! A recovering diplomat – yes, I left the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office – I now eliminate poverty of understanding as a City of London guide. I researched the East India Tour for over a year.”
