Guided by Matthew
The Courtauld. Every reason for going on this one. Strongest possible reasons.
1. It's the Courtauld. It's got the finest collection of French Impressionist works outside of France.
2. It's small, it's manageable. It doesn't overwhelm you – apart from the fact that every painting is world famous.
3. See it while you can. It closes in early September for a major redevelopment.
4. It's guided by an art historian who's also a novelist (Matt's well-received novels all have to do with the world of art).
The Courtauld Gallery Tour takes place at xxxxm on xxxxxxxx. Meet Matthew just outside the exit of TempleTube.
N.B. there's a £7 admission fee to the Courtauld.
