Short version. An Urban Geology Walk. 

Long version. All Hail to another one of Ruth's and Sophie's Urban Geology Walks. This one, practically next door to their university (UCL), will reveal unexpected aspects of the history of geology as well as shed light on the global origin of the building materials used in the construction of 17th through 21st Century buildings in Fitzrovia, an area which is now the home of media companies and boutique restaurants. Our walk will examine their glossy exteriors to reveal the legacy of Italian volcanoes, tropical seas and and South American mountain chains. A whole world in a block of land! Guided, as always, by professional geologists Ruth or Matt.
