ON LOCATION IN LONDON
Would you like to discover and photograph the city? This tour is for you. Led by professional photographer, magazine editor and Blue Badge Guide Marc Zakian, the London photography tour is an ideal way to get to know your camera in one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Our small group (no more than 6 people) will all get individual instruction. Bring your DSLR, mirrorless or compact camera and find out how to take some great shots. (If you have a smartphone camera or tablet you are welcome, but there is only so much you can learn with these options.) We start with a talk about how to use your camera. We'll make the techy stuff as interesting and easy as possible: find out about blurred shots, freeze motion, how to get the best from variable light, composition, focus. We will cover shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Marc's prepared a hand-out to help you remember everything.
Then we're off to explore London. History and photography combined in one tour. At the end of the tour we'll review our images together. You'll go away with some great shots of London, a better understanding of your camera and some fascinating facts about the city.
