THE OLD KNIGHTSBRIDGE VILLAGE PUB WALK

The Old Knightsbridge Village Pub Walk was a great way to end our week of touring London through London Walks. On this, our third trip to London together, my mother and I went on five London Walks, and enjoyed them greatly. Hilary and Richard III drew us back time and again.

In particular, the Knightsbridge walk was quite an adventure as we moved through time in the posh upper class neighborhood, and experienced the grand homes and quaint mews described in the walk overview. We particularly liked an impromptu stop at a new pub for Richard that gave us a true feel for life in the residents' neighborhood.

Richard III was charming and informative, and his enthusiasm for London's history was so contagious that we went to see his play, as well. We felt like part of his extended family, rather than the "foreigners" we are.

We're so glad we found you, London Walks! Your walks truly made our trip!
