THE COVENT GARDEN PUB WALK
Off-piste in Gas-Lit London

I highly recommend this walk. It waa a lot of fun and if you love the feel of Victorian, gaslit London - then this is for you. We went down the stairs near the Embankment and went into a square which made me feel as if we had stepped back into the London of the 1880's - that's how Victorian it felt with the gas lights. We also visited a few ancient pubs such as Nell Gwynn's, the Coal Hole and one more whose name I forgot.
