I went on Hilary's tour of Richmond and Hampton Court five years ago and must say it was the best experience I had had on visits to London before that time.
We return in September and the first thing we looked at were the dates for this tour as my husband is eager to experience the lovely day and excellent guiding by Hilary that I had back then. If you get a chance, dont miss this one.

My 14 year old son and I did this walk/boat ride and he still talks about the best sandwich and hot chocolate on the boat ride and watching the lock fill for our boat to continue up the Thames to the Palace. He liked it so much that he brought his brother back for the same tour a year later.
