IN THE FAR OFF TIME - The London of Shakespeare & Co.

This is a great walk. It goes beyond Shakespeare to include references to Jane Austen and Chaucer and local lore. I knew next to nothing about Southwark but Shaughan was able to tell us so much about its history. The walk finishes at The Globe. After a nice lunch in the restaurant and a tour of the theatre I retraced our steps on the walk and spent some time exploring Southwark Cathedral.
