Indeed, a series of Archaeology Walks!!
 
What a welcome, splendid new strand to the London Walks programme!!! 
 
And that's by way of saying, we'll be running an Archaeology Walk every other month - on the first Saturday of the months in question. They'll take place at 10.45 am. They'll be guided by a professional archaeologist. And not just any archaeologist. Kevin Flude, a former Museum of London Archaeologist, is a leading authority on the archaeology of london. He's also an author and a museum curator.
 
Here's the SATURDAY ARCHAEOLOGY WALKS AT 10.45 AM schedule...
 
The series kicks off on Saturday, January 2nd. That debut walk will be The Origins & Archaeology of the City. It'll go from Tower HillTube at 10.45 am.
 
That'll be followed on Saturday, March 6th by Life in Roman London. It'll go from Tower HillTube at 10.45 am.
 
On Saturday, May 1st it'll be The Myths & Origins of London. It'll go from Tower HillTube at 10.45 am.
 
On Saturday, July 3rd it'll be Decline & Fall - The Archaeology of Roman & Dark Age London.It'll go from St. Paul'sTube, exit 2 at 10.45 am.
 
On Saturday, September 4th it'll be In Search of Saxon London - The Archaeology & History of Southwark. It'll go from London BridgeTube, the Tooley Street exit at 10.45 am.
 
On Saturday, November 6th it'll be The Archaeology & History of Bermondsey. It'll go from London BridgeTube, the Tooley Street exit at 10.45 am.
 
And watch this space. There'll be more Archaeology Walks up here in due course, following the set pattern of one every other month, at 10.45 am on the first Saturday of the months in question.
