CHARLES DICKENS'S LONDON
Julie - London
April 2010
Mum and I thought we'd do this for 'something to do'. I'm just so glad that we did. It was BRILLIANT!
Jean really brought the whole thing alive, and made me want to go back are re-read the books. She was amazing. She showed us a London I was completely unaware of that are very close to areas that I walk past regularly. We're now looking to see which one we do next....

we would reccomend this walk as the tour guide was outstanding and very knowledgable. She brought the story and chracters to life and inspired us to read more Dicken's novels. This walk was beneficial as it taught us many things about Dickens that we did not know

These are great tours and you often miss a lot of these great hidden places when doing more generic site seeing, and with guides as skilled as these you can never go wrong. I had my new camera with me, and keeping my finger off the shutter button was a real problem. Cheers for a great day! (Photo: Jean captivating the group outside the Old Curiosity Shop)

Taking a city for granted when you've lived there is a stupid mistake, especially when the city is London. I found out about London Walks through a friend whose mum works in the tours industry. My day was free after lunch, so I decided to check what tours were on. I decided to go on the Charles Dickens tour, in which Jean was on spectacular form - her animated demeanour really kept the audience captivated.
