THE BRITISH MUSEUM WALK
Serena Gay - Berlin, Germany
June 2007
As the joint owner of a walking tour company in another country, I just have to write to congratulate Molly and London Walks on this British Museum Walk. Everything about Molly's
tour - which I took with my little boy on a lightening trip to London last week - typified the sort of high standards we hope to achieve on our walking tours in Berlin.
I was captivated throughout by Molly's erudition, fluid delivery, and choice of fascinating exhibits to show us. To think I have finally laid my eyes on the Elgin Marbles and the Rosetta Stone - among so many other things. What
a tour and in what in place! I feel so enthused now with what the British
Museum has to offer that it is top of my list for a return visit.
Clearly, London Walks has nothing to fear from any half-baked competitors with guides like Molly.
It was also good to see my little boy paying some attention (not a strong
point normally!!) and obviously enjoying himself.
It's a great tribute to Molly that she can hook in children too.
I have been raving about this tour to everyone I know in Berlin - so don't be surprised Molly if you get a sudden Teutonic invasion!!
Thanks again. Serena Gay
