THE BRITISH MUSEUM WALK

Do yourself a favor and take this walking tour. The British Museum is SO massive and overwhelming. If you're like me you'll want to see it all, but soon realize that's impossible. But, with this walking tour you'll see the highlights and gain valuable information as well as get a "feel" for this gem in London. Then, grab a bite to eat, sit and regroup for a while and go back and see other areas you're interested in or return to your favorites. I've toured the British Musuem with a headset and one of their Blue Badge Guides AND with London Walks......London Walks is the best value and best, in my opinion.

Tony,

David here. We're of course in agreement with you. Though as a certain tough - and yes, very attractive - little blonde named
Mandy Rice Davis put it quite a few years ago, "he would say that, wouldn't he". But seriously, which London Walks guide conducted your BM walk? It would be great to know, not least because we'd like to pass your wonderfully succinct - it absolutely crystallises everything - comment on to him or her.

Many thanks,

David

I enjoyed the walk with Molly thru the British Museum. She was very knowledgeable about the many exhibits she talked about. I would recommend her tour to anyone as I would go again if I could.

The British museum is huge, and the walk will show you the important highlights, which is a good starting point. After the walk you have the option of using one of the audio guides to see additional highlights.Dont expect to see everything in a day though! Also can be quite warm inside in summer, and quite crowded on the weekend. Two hours was just right for me to get a feel of the museum.
